FNAF Music Bots hacked story

In this article, I want to share the full developed story on how and why our FNAF music bots were hacked and was raiding servers. I did make this announcement on the support server on September 24th, 2024, however, I want to give the full in-depth story on this situation since this is the first time something like this has ever happened to us and I got new things to talk about ever since the situation and the announcement I made on the support server.

So this whole situation started when I joined a Discord server that promises free Discord bot hosting. I will make this clear, WE ARE A NON-PROFIT COMMUNITY. This means, I am not earning any money from my content and I cannot afford paid hosting. I would have to always rely on free hosting. Anyways, back to the server, the hosting is called "Astral-Cloud". I first signed up to the service, got my free server, and hosted my FNAF music bots on there including the Revolt bots. Everything was fine for a couple days, however, after a couple days of hosting my FNAF music bots and the Revolt versions on Astral-Cloud, things has changed.

A couple days later after I have been hosting my FNAF music bots with them, I have noticed people where discussing DDoS activites. Even if these messages are jokes, I am still concerned because DDoSing is illegal. Even in the United States (which is where I, the owner live), doing DDoS attacks can be classified as a federal criminal offense. There is even a .gov website with a page that explains that DDoS attacks is illegal. Because of this, I made the complaint to Kushi, that people within the server were discussing DDoS activities. Kushi didn't care and shortly after, this is when my FNAF music Discord bots were hacked and my Discord bots were used to raid servers and advertise their hosting Discord server. Thankfully, I resetted the tokens for the FNAF music Discord bots quickly after I was aware of this. However, even with the bot tokens reset, due to the Bonnie bot causing too much damage, I had to delete the application and make the Chica bot into the Bonnie bot since that application wasn't in enough servers to cause a ton of damage. This was the first time something like this has ever happened to us so that is why I had to delete a couple applications and remake them on Discord.

I originally thought Kushi was the one behind this since this situation happened shortly after I made my complaint to Kushi. However, p451. told me who is really behind this. Apperently, some person called "Rizzler" was the one who went into my hosting server, pulled the tokens (even though they were in .env files), and used these tokens to raid servers advertising their hosting platform, telling me to f*** myself, and even said the N word (which I censored in the first screenshot). So, why did Rizzler do this? I have no clue. There could be a connection between Rizzler and Kushi since Rizzler was staff at Astral-cloud and this hack happened right after I complained to Kushi about people discussing DDoS activities. However, I can not say for certain. What I do know is if you do care about your Discord bots, you should probably stay away from Astral-Cloud.

My Revolt.chat bot tokens were in that same .env file on the host but thankfully, they didn't do anything with the Revolt bots as they may not know how Revolt bots actually works. Regardless, I decided to open a ticket with the Revolt support team so they can reset my Revolt bot tokens as a safety precaution because who knows if they are gonna learn about revolt.chat bots and how they work and the revolt bots raid bots as well. Thankfully, Revolt support was fast and resetted my tokens in less then 20 minutes after me emailing them. They literally saved me from what could have ended in disaster if Astral-Cloud figured out how Revolt bots work.

In conclusion, if you care about your Discord/Revolt bots and wish to host them for free like what I do, even with Rizzler fired, I still probably would not take a chance with Astral-Cloud, instead, use Embotic or Solarhosting.
